A major step forward for badminton as the Markham badminton club and Badminton Ontario host their first Annual Markham Pan Am Exhibitions. In an ongoing effort to promote the 2015 Pan Am Games Badminton event in Markham, Ontario, over 600 spectators gathered at Markham Badminton Club (MBC) facility this week to watch Pan Am medalists battle it out in exhibition matches for the evening.

The promotional event was the brainchild of MBC, a relatively new grassroots club in Markham that boasts 400 members only after two years of operation. B.On sponsored the event engaging local clubs and athletes to participate in the exhibition. A portable court was set up and matches were umpired with service and 10 lines judge officials for the evening.

It was an extremely successful evening and was reported by the local Markham Economist & Sun newspaper, Fairchild TV and Rogers TV as may be viewed in the following YouTube sports casts.
